本合海航路は、すべて貸切運航になります。乗合はできません。

本合海の渡船場跡
「奥の細道」を旅をした俳人・松尾芭蕉がここから乗船して、庄内に向かいました。「「芭蕉と曾良」の像」と「五月雨をあつめて早し最上川」の句碑が立てられています。
八向楯
最上川右岸の八向山山頂に築かれた八向楯は、1500年代の中世の楯（城）で、尾根筋に二重・三重堀を設けた堅固な楯。最上川に面した高い断崖は圧巻です。
矢向神社（矢向大明神）と矢向巻
矢向神社は、平安時代前期に建立されました。源義経が奥州平泉に向かう途中、この「八向大明神」を伏し拝んだと「義経記」に記されています。矢向神社崖下の水面が舟運難所といわれた矢向巻です。最上川文化的資産50選に選ばれています。
